Sharon Rider has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Kansas University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Avila University. She has a Clinical Social Work license in the states of Missouri and Kansas.

Sharon is happily married, and she and her husband have four grown children and four grandchildren. She has 20 years of experience as a college professor, school counselor, emergency room response professional and a clinical therapist. She provides counseling services to children and adults of all ages. Sharon’s counseling services include counseling to individuals, couples and families. As a therapist she is able to integrate her knowledge of education and mental health issues to help people problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and work toward positive home and school experiences.

Sharon also counsels children and adults who are experiencing life transitions, mood disorders, grief and loss, psychological or spiritual problems, or who wish to improve their marriages, parenting and life skills.
