Natalie Gatten received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri - Columbia and is actively pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University.
Natalie has experience working in the mental health field prior to joining Dipoto Counseling Group. She worked as a Behavioral Intervention Services and Supports in Schools (BISSS) Case Manager for Oklahoma City Public Schools. Natalie also worked as an Intensive In-Home/Intensive Family Reunion Specialist for at-risk families in the Columbia area. She volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in the Columbia area, advocating for the well-being of children that are navigating the foster care system.
Natalie has a passion for working with children and adolescents. Her experience working with children and families has provided valuable insight into utilizing individual and family counseling techniques. She has experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) as well as other approaches tailored to best fit the client.
Outside of counseling, Natalie spends her time with her friends, family and two cats. She loves being outside in nature, reading a good book, or doing something artistic.
Natalie is a student intern working under the clinical supervision of Marc Dipoto, LPC.
