Hi, I'm Natalie Gatten, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, honesty and support. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard, explore your emotions, and build the tools you need to grow and heal.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri – Columbia and my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings, including schools and in-home services. I’ve supported at-risk families in the Columbia area, served as a BISSS Case Manager for Oklahoma City Public Schools, and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for children in the foster care system.
These experiences have shaped the way I connect with others. I use a personalized, empathetic approach in therapy, drawing from techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and adjusting to what best fits each person’s needs. I believe that with the right support, everyone has the ability to find balance, resilience and meaningful change.
Outside of counseling, you’ll find me spending time with my friends, family and two cats. I love being outside in nature, getting lost in a good book, or creating something artistic.
Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Natalie is a provisionally licensed professional counselor working under the clinical supervision of Marc Dipoto, LPC.
