Since earning my Bachelor's degree in 2000 and Master's degree in 2002, both from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, I have enjoyed working in diverse backgrounds with individuals and couples. I have assisted clients addressing concerns related to depression, anxiety and trauma with both adults and adolescents. Holding my clinical license since 2007, I bring extensive experience and expertise to the field.
In my practice, I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy. Beyond these, I incorporate holistic methods like breath work, meditation, and mindfulness, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I appreciate a holistic approach to therapy, ensuring a comprehensive and personalized strategy for each client's unique path to healing and wholeness. This philosophy informs my practice and empowers individuals to integrate various aspects of their well-being. I also believe in the power of establishing a strong rapport with my clients as a key component to the success of our work together. By understanding their individual preferences and needs, I create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters healing and personal growth.
